The Enquiry Builder, Finance Renewal Plug-In
This plug-in to the popular Ebbon-Dacs lead management module can automatically send leads to Salespeople or Sales Managers based on existing customers that have moved into equity with their financed vehicles.
The software values customer vehicles as an on-going process using industry standard vehicle valuation data based on an estimated or actual vehicle mileage. This value is then compared to the current settlement figure with the balance being used as a deposit on a like for like vehicle.
From the retailers point of view the customer is being offered a new vehicle early, before they have a chance to review the competition or even put themselves in the market. Another benefit with this method is that the vehicle coming back into stock is often younger, still under warrantee and easier to re-sell.
From the customer point of view they have the opportunity to purchase a new vehicle early and maintain on-going use of a newer vehicle. They get more for their part exchange vehicle that they would have done if they had waited until the end of their agreement, plus all the hassle of arranging settlement and re-finance is sorted by the retailer.
Great for sales teams. Rather than trawling through customer lists with the latest offers, salespeople are now able to offer very specific offers to individual customers. Being able to say to a customer, we are able to offer you a brand new car at the same rate you are paying now, some 18-months or so before their existing agreement ends is a much more appealing sales line and a good reason to call someone. These sales can be further enhanced by adding any manufacturer support into the deal and tend to be of a much higher profit margin.
For those retailers that already make these calls, the time to collect all of this information even where the data is to hand can take 15-20 minutes per call. Having all the data immediately there and in one place is simply a huge time saver.
